WHODUNNIT?
Who shot Ronnie Archer instead of a pheasant at his Lordship’s shooting party at the Manor?

And why did everyone in the village hate him?

The detectives from Scotland Yard can only watch in awe as the razor-sharp brain of Miss Prunes, Head Librarian, skillfully dissects the motives and manners of the various suspects, while also keeping a watchful eye on her assistant, Miss Prism:

MISS PRUNES:   Miss Prism, I do not want to be unduly harsh on a young person, and I have to say that I have always found you to be a willing worker, a conscientious time keeper and a young lady who has always kept her hands clean - a consideration which is of the greatest importance in anyone wishing to succeed as a librarian, but... and I say “but” Miss Prism!... this morning I found this translation of Mr. Marx’s Das Kapital filed under Romantic Fiction!

Last year's Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre was such a success that we are doing another one this year.  In the Aperitivo production, the audience enjoys fifty minutes of murder, mayhem and scandal, set in the 1920s, in which the various suspects are introduced and their motives analysed.  Dinner is then served, during which the audience can chew over the clues - both false and genuine - and decide on their personal choice of murderer.  After dinner comes the solution, and the selection of one lucky, prize-winning member of the audience whose keen intellect unmasked the guilty party.
